Lifecycle

From lock to delivery, in four phases.

Every order on FXAGold follows the same predictable lifecycle. The desk, the producer, and SHAKSETTLE each have a defined role.

Lock

Buyer

Buyer selects weight, sovereign producer, and delivery date. The current LBMA spot rate plus the producer's local markup is captured and frozen on-ledger as the locked contract price.

Verify

SHAKSETTLE

Buyer payment is submitted to SHAKSETTLE for verification. SHAKSETTLE confirms instrument legitimacy and returns a verification reference. The contract advances to Verified.

Phase

Custody

Producer

Verified funds are held in custody by SHAKSETTLE on behalf of the sovereign producer. The producer reserves and assays the physical gold against the contract weight, then marks the contract ready for delivery.

Deliver

Buyer + Producer

On physical delivery confirmation, SHAKSETTLE releases custody to the producer. The contract is closed, the audit log is sealed, and both parties retain a permanent settlement record.
